I had over 150 e-mails requesting information on the DIP switch settings, and other technical solutions for the Presario 1600 series Laptops in December 2000 alone, so I have had to publish this site in a hurry, as I can no longer keep up with demand. So, to all you Presario Laptop owners, keep this page handy, you may well learn something to your advantage.
If any of you are owners of a Presario Series 1200 with the AMD CPU, you may be able to use the settings that I have listed on the 1200 DIP settings page.
To the other folks looking at this page, maybe for the AMD section, or to find out about upgrading older motherbards with a K6+ CPU, I hope that it is useful for you.
